Some of the following are fairly large files
and some are rude. Very rude. A classic, not to mention very funny, series of Reebok adverts featuring Terry Tate, Office Linebacker. Some of these are very large files. Terry Tate's World (16.2Mb WMV) Terry Tate and the streaker (2.45Mb WMV) Terry Tate's vacation (1.19Mb WMV) Terry Tate Draft day (14Mb WMV) Terry Tate sensitivity training (19Mb WMV)
Very much deserving of its 18 rating, this audio clip is pretty funny if you like swearing! There's an independent local radio station in Glasgow called Real Radio, and their breakfast time presenter, Robin Galloway, often does a wind up whereby he phones someone and pretends to be someone else. The person receiving the call has usually been set up by a friend beforehand. This clip, which presumably was never broadcast, seems to relate to someone called Mr Smillie, who has apparently had a small run-in with a moderately famous Scottish comedian called Andy Cameron while at a football match at Ibrox park in Glasgow, where Glasgow Rangers play. I am told that Smillie is not only a Rangers fan, but is absolutely huge! Now listen to the clip. (2.31Mb WMA)
This video of Robin Williams talking about Scotland and golf is very funny! (1.71Mb WMV Video)
After some problems with the size of these being the last straw and filling my previous free Webspace, they're back! Glaswegian dubbed pasta sauce adverts. Pure quality man! Dolmio 1 (2.8Mb WMV Video) Dolmio 2 (1.8Mb WMV Video) Dolmio 3 (0.98Mb WMV Video) Dolmio 4 (712Kb WMV Video) Dolmio 5 (0.97Mb WMV Video) Dolmio 6 (1.01Mb WMV Video) Dolmio 7 (1.76Mb WMV Video) Dolmio 8 (5.74Mb WMV Video) Dolmio 9 (973Kb WMV Video) Dolmio 10 (1.83Mb WMV Video) Dolmio 11 (613Kb WMV Video)
The Glasgow Plumber.
The sound quality is very poor, and unless you're used to
hearing (and understanding) broad Glasgow accents it's quite hard to follow.
But if you can manage to stick with it, it's ultimately worth it.
An all time classic - it's the story of Armageddon! read live on a US Radio show (927Kb MP3)
This isn't actually a sound or a video, it's from a Website, but this clips page
is where it sits best since I don't want anyone to be able to go directly to it
from the sidebar without first reading this warning that it contains language of
an adult nature! It's a page from the
Friends Reunited site from a
few years ago, or at least that's what it looks like - I've no doubt it's been
doctored, and I wish I could claim authorship, but I can't! I have however
amended the address and phone number listed, just in case! You need a wee bit of knowledge of Scottish football to fully appreciate this clip about a dedicated follower of Glasgow Rangers! (2.5Mb WMA) The sound quality of this clip about an Australian Art Gallery is a bit poor, but it's worth listening to anyway! (164Kb WMA) I heard this again recently on Radio Scotland and it reminded me how good it is. If you want to hear Andrew Lloyd Webber done in a tartan style, then this is for you, you strange person! (1.45Mb MP3)
A classic MasterCard advert! (1.83Mb WMV video) Specsavers advert. Ouch! (468Kb WMV video) Hamstermail advert (750Kb WMV video) Jurassic fart - make sure you have the sound turned up! (1.01Mb WMV video) Michael Jackson's defence! (2.08Mb WMV video) The story is this: there was an accident in a mine in Russia and there was some suggestion that alcohol may have been a contributing factor, so a camera crew was duly dispatched to interview some of the miners to see if there was any truth in the rumour. You don't have to understand Russian, just watch the video and make up your own mind! (2.35Mb MPG) Homer Simpson's tribute to the Flintstones (211Kb MP3) Burberry (480Kb MP3) Abbot & Costello - Who's on First Base? (69.4Kb MP3)
There is a craze in the US for Neds hanging out of the doors of moving cars and slapping or otherwise frightening pedal cyclists. Watch this video and see this particular git get his comeuppance! (680Kb WMV video) Cut Every Corner from The Simpsons featuring Sherry Bobbins (742Kb MP3)
This short excerpt from the Aberdeen area clearly demonstrates the perils of Live Radio (353Kb MP3) The following is a series of 3 real messages left on an answering machine. You must listen to them in the correct order, and listen right up to the end of the third one as there is an unexpected punchline. Please be aware that all three contain exceptionally strong and disturbing language!
